Why does the page reload when I click on the show password button I just made?

I can't see where this error could come from. From no part of the clickable elements is something that should cause this to happen. Any idea of what this could be about?

I’m not sure, but perhaps you put the button inside of a form? The default type for a button is “submit”. Try adding a “type” attribute on your button with a value of “button” 🤞
