Has anyone used web3js within Toddle components? I was actually able to connect a metamask wallet using a custom action. Curious how to do things like display the wallet address, account balance, etc. (perhaps this is more of a question of how to return data from a custom action to store in a variable).

Thanks @Andreas Møller. I figured out the syntax for emitting the event in the custom action but I’m still a bit confused on how to listen for the event and assign the data passed by the event to a variable at the page level.

Have a wee read through the post I made re text selection. This used a custom action with an event and I managed to get this to save to a variable. I think I included some screenshots in that post.

Yes. I actually had the "setup" correct. As with most things, it was a silly error. I wasn't awaiting the response from the wallet. Once I made the function asynchronous and added await to my wallet connection, it worked just fine... 🤦‍♂️

I guess the question now becomes, is there a recommended way to injest javascript libraries? I basically just added the cdn link for web3.js to the header of the page.
