Maybe I'm missing it but the documentation is a little sparse around building custom actions. How can I either1. Return data from the action that I can access in an event that is trigger from the action2. Set a variable on the page from within the action

You have to trigger a custom event from the action
The AI bot was actually quite helpful in answering this earlier
