    Hello Toddle community,

I'm considering using Toddle and would appreciate your insights on whether it's suitable for my needs. Here's my situation:

    - My girlfriend and I have recently started learning together. She's studying design (likely using Figma), while I'm looking for ways to implement her designs.
    - I'm interested in no-code web development. Initially, I thought Webflow would be a good option, but I've noticed some limitations for Lithuania, such as a lack of payment gateway integrations.
    - I like that Toddle offers extensive API integrations and similar features.

    My main questions are:

About the workflow with clients if I were to become a freelancer or start an agency:

    - If I create a simple website for a client using Toddle, does the client need to purchase Toddle themselves?
    - Or is it sufficient for me to have a Toddle subscription, with the client potentially paying me a portion of the fee?
    - How would it work if I end up with multiple projects (say, 10 different ones) in my account?

    Regarding static vs dynamic websites:

    - Is Toddle suitable for creating static websites, or is it better to use only for dynamic websites?
    - Are there better options for static websites, and if so, in what scenarios would Toddle be the preferred choice?

I'd greatly appreciate any insights or experiences you can share about using Toddle in a professional capacity, especially regarding client management, pricing structure, and the types of websites it's best suited for.

Note: I'm aware that I might be completely misunderstanding how this process works. If the reality is entirely different from what I'm imagining, please feel free to correct me and explain how it actually functions.

Another note: I've been following this Discord for a while, as well as the comments that the CEO makes on Toddle reviews and on Reddit. I have to say, I love how friendly and dynamic this community is. It's truly impressive and a big part of why I'm interested in Toddle.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi Dividers.

It sounds like like toddle could be a great choice, the main question is really what you will be building.

If you are exclusively building websites with little to no dynamic content then webflow is a great choice.

You can build great static websites in toddle, but webflow is created specifically for this purpose

toddle shines when you start building more complex web apps with interactions and dynamic content.

In either case I would highly recommend that both you and your girlfriend learn the tool you choose. The classic design /developer split makes no sense when you are using a visual programming tool.

If you choose toddle the simples option is probably to host your clients sites for them.
They can also have their own toddle account if that makes more sense for them.

Later this year we will also add the option of self hosting toddle apps.

Thank you so much for your detailed and insightful response! I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this.

Your suggestion about both my girlfriend and I learning the same tool makes a lot of sense. It could definitely streamline our workflow and collaboration. We'll discuss this option together.

Regarding what I want to create, the answer is actually "everything". I'm interested in building simple landing pages, but I'm also excited about the possibility of working on more complex projects. Your explanation about Toddle shining with more complex web apps and dynamic content is particularly intriguing to me.

Given this context, I have a few follow-up questions:

    1. For someone looking to create a variety of projects (from simple to complex), would you recommend starting with Toddle to have that flexibility from the beginning?

    2. Are there any specific resources or learning paths you'd recommend for someone new to Toddle who wants to explore its full potential, especially for more complex projects?

    1. Yes I would. If you are looking to invest in learning a tool toddle is IMO the best choice.
    2. First week in toddle is the best way to get started https://docs.nordcraft.com

I used Webflow and other tools a lot in the past and I've been spending my days on toddle the last few months. 100% agree with Andreas. Only reason why I would use Webflow or Framer is for a website with complex animations, the rest toddle. They have built a such a great platform and once you are fluent with it if you can imagine it it most likely can be built here

Nice, that's mostly what I've been looking for. I guess it'll just take some time to learn it.
