I added a user with edit status but they can't edit or create branches.

Could you check if you also grated the user access to your project (and not only your organization)? You can manage project access on toddle.dev/projects/your-project-id
We plan to make the difference between organization and project members more clear soon since this is causing some confusion at the moment.

Awesome. Will there down the line be different levels of users as well?

Yes. For now we only support owner and editor, but we will most likely introduce other roles later
