I am trying to make a currency input, the problem is that i need to be able to input also cent, for example 25.50, i tried with toddle ai to do it. here is where i am at (see screenshot), the problem is that now it doesn't set the variable with the input value.

And you probably do not want to hard-code the locale
No I didn't. The problem is not the symbol the problem is being able to input cents like 10.50.

If I use number type input with the formula you mentioned above, then I am able to input decimals but it wouldn't update the variable. If I use text type input, then I need to be able to restrict typing in any letters. And I haven't figured this out yet.
