I want to take this opportunity to vent as a user and Toddle enthusiast. I truly love the platform; it’s a solid tool that allowed me to finally bring the project I’ve been dreaming of to life.
I understand that the Toddle team has many priorities, but I wonder: is the custom domain functionality for SaaS projects really a need for such a small group of users?
I’ve been working on this project for months, dedicating time and resources. I’m not a programmer, and I chose no-code precisely for its ease, speed, and accessible learning curve. I’ve used AI to assist me in the process, but I knew from the beginning, after talking to the Toddle team, that there wasn’t a built-in solution for custom domains.
It was my oversight not to consider the impact this would have on my project, and now it has become a significant issue. The main challenge is not just the uncertainty about the stability of the solution but also the high cost of using Coalias.
I acknowledge that I neglected this aspect, but it would be incredibly motivating to hear from the Toddle team that this functionality is on their roadmap and that there is a projected release timeline. This would help me plan better and avoid similar hurdles in the future.
I want to reiterate my appreciation for the tool and the team. This is just a heartfelt vent from a passionate user. I understand that for more technically advanced users, this might be a simpler issue to resolve.
