How to create a formula that takes in "location" as a parameter and returns a string?
Hi! Day 1 playing around with Toddle, and I'm already having so much fun! Yes, a lot of features do feel prototype-y, but I haven't faced any major issues so far.

Using the "location" package and the googleMapsLocationLink method, I was able to return the google maps url as you can see in the first screenshot.

However, when I try to write my own custom formula (third screenshot), that takes in a "location" object as a parameter and return a new url string, I keep getting a null value (second screenshot).

I've only done mobile dev (flutter & ios) the past couple of years, so my js is super rusty. Can anyone give me some insight on how to fix this?

How to use "Animation"? I'm trying to do a simple fade-in on page load
I'm trying to reveal an element when the page loads but I'm not getting how to do it. I thought that I could do it by setting an initial opacity of 0 and adding an animation transition for the opacity property, but I can't see where to set the final opacity value, which I want to set to 1. I also tried by using the events tab, but I couldn't find an "onload" event or something similar.

How to use custom attributes/styles within the Tool Cool Range Slider Package
Hi, I've been playing around with https://toolcool.toddle.site/ and it works nicely, but I'd like to disable the handlers wich I can see is possible according with the documentation at https://toolcool-range-slider.mzsoft.org/pages/disabled.html although I can't get how to do it inside toddle.
I'd also love to be able to customize the theme/styles but don't know how to "translate" this information https://toolcool-range-slider.mzsoft.org/pages/css-themes.html to toddle

Does anyone have experience in managing dynamic SVGs, e.g., for a doughnut chart component?
    Hi,

Is there anybody who has experience with dynamically calculating the 'd' attribute for SVGs? I am planning to build this doughnut chart component, and my current thought is to somehow achieve this with SVGs and repeated items to build this dynamic doughnut chart.

Bug: API flickers on loading and then shows as error
I checked the log in the backend (Xano) and it says that the API was successful (no error message) - however when I want to use the API, it shows up as null/error

    Support/Contact Form Help
    Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone can help me with input on how to build a support/contact form within my Toddle App.

What I am trying to do is setup a page wherein users can type support/troubleshooting requests and, upon hitting "send", the message will be automatically sent to a specific email.

I know there's the "share" feature within actions, just not sure how to set that up or if it's the right approach.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! I'm a relative novice when it comes to wed/software dev, so please excuse me if this is a rather straightforward/simple process.

Interested in any advice/approach that could get the job done!

    Thanks!

    publish
Hello. I'm hoping someone will be able to help me format the output from the Now() function like this: YYYY-MM-DD. I've asked the AI to help and it said the options should be as follows: year:numeric,month:2-digit,day:2-digit. Unfortunately, the resulting date is still in the format MM-DD-YYYY. My locale is set to en-US. Many thanks.

Auto adjust height of an input field as text gets added?
There are two input fields here. The first is in the blue bubble. The second is in the white bubble.

The blue bubble's input field isn't shrinking properly to wrap around the text. Seems like it has a set width even though I haven't set one yet. It can get bigger, but doesn't get smaller if there's less text. My goal is to have it perfectly wrap the text you input into it no matter how long or short it is.

The white bubble input field also isn't handling the text properly. I want this to expand down as the user writes more text. But currently it's just truncating the visible text instead of wrapping it like a normal text editor.

Does anyone know how to set these up?

Embedding HTML or Java onto a page?
Anybody know how I'd embed HTML within a div on a page? I know using iframe is an option for a full webpage, however, the page I'm trying to embed requires additional HTML in order to work properly. Here is the documentation: https://botpress.com/docs/cloud/webchat-customization/bot-in-div/.

Another option for the page I'm trying to embed would be to use Javascript: https://botpress.com/docs/cloud/webchat-customization/full-screen-bot/. I'm just not sure where'd I'd place this within Toddle in order to get it to work.

Are either of the methods possible within Toddle?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

API + Xano + Template + weird stuff everywhere
    I used the "Fastgen" template for my nth attempt and did not fiddle with the signup page. Initially it worked out of the box and gave me regular errors;
"param missing" and good old 'null' but today something new:

    - a whole paragraph about some missing links!!? :))
I updated the installed package "Shoelace style", refreshed several times, tried again but still nothing...

I have no queries, headers or any other fancy stuff... just a noob approach...

    Any support is welcome...

If you are still reading, as a thank you for your attention, I did find a really clear explanation video (https://share.zight.com/X6unlZv4) of how to use an API to GET list values and put them in the select options list... thank you whoever did this, if I managed to do this, a blind, one-armed monkey can also so for the rest it will be a breeze 🙂

I'm feel dumb... Why is uploading a file so hard?
The app I'm trying to create requires a file upload and I for the life of me can't get a file uploaded anywhere: BuildShip, S3, Supabase, etc.
    I've followed this tutorial: https://discord.com/channels/972416966683926538/1040267068412534785/1126116566929510420
    And still getting errors 😭
At this point I don't care where the file is uploaded, I just need to get it off my machine and into the cloud
Does anybody have another example I can look at?
